Land Freight Coordinator

To ensure that the service delivered, meets and exceeds customer expectation, is in accordance with established service levels/SOP’s and is within Revenue & Cost parameters. Ensure that all associated administrative requirements are complete and accurate. Proactively support and contribute to the achievement of Departmental, Branch and Company goals and objectives.

Description of all key tasks and responsibilities including decision making authority:

Understanding Customer Requirements and ensuring the delivery of first class Customer Service
Planning, arranging, monitoring and controlling all elements of Land Transport shipments (Door to Door) and the completion of all associated documentation (operational, administrative & legal)
Operation of IT Systems (CIEL), MS Office & associated tools
Understanding and adhering to company Quality Policy and Objectives, and maintenance of KPI’s
Producing accurate and appropriate pricing and rates in consultation with Dept. Manager
Timely and accurate generation of Sales Invoicing and timely processing of costs (purchase invoices) in paper and electronic form
Timely and effective response to general inquiries and queries, or escalation if unable to deal with completely or accurately
Compliance with all Legal, Regulatory and Company Standards
Compliance with the companies H&S Policy and practices and contribute to creating a safer working environment
Other Tasks as required
