Inside Sales – European Road Freight Department

Job Purpose: To sell Road, Air and Sea Freight Services to new and existing customers, generating new business opportunities and desired revenue goals.

  • Main Duties & Responsibilities:
    • To increase the company’s market share by meeting and exceeding agreed objectives, in terms of generating sales leads and acquiring new business.
    • To raise the awareness and profile of the company in the market place by promoting the company and its services.
    • To assist in targeted marketing and sales campaigns.
    • To Target clients for specific company services.
    • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets by developing an adequate sales pipeline, in line with sales conversion ratios.
    • Complete sales reports and customer profile reports, in accordance with the company procedures.
    • Preparing quotations for relevant clients, in accordance with current procedures, in conjunction with the operations department.
    • Submit an activity/new business report on a monthly basis to the Branch Manager.
    • Achieve agreed or given targets/deadlines as directed by the Branch Manager.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Proven and consistent telephone based sales experience
  • Proven ability to achieve monthly sales targets and examples of exceeding those set.
  • Ability to close sales.
  • At least 1-2 Years telesales experience.
  • Adaptable to working towards set targets, objectives and goals.

Carrying out any additional duties which may be assigned from time to time.
